Dear Colleagues,
The School of Modern Languages of the University of St Andrews and the
Applied Languages section, School of Humanities, University of Dundee
are hosting the Cross-Sector Annual Conference on New Perspectives on
Language Teaching and Learning, on June 9th 2018 at the University of
St Andrews.
The theme of the conference is ?Engaging Language Learners? and we
welcome proposals for workshops as well as presentations of projects
on innovative ways of teaching Modern Languages at school and at
university level.
Suggested topics include but are not limited to:
? Creative skills
? Enterprise
? Technology-enhanced learning (TEL)
? Independent learning
? Innovative assessment
? Peer feedback
? Translation and interpreting skills
? Bilingualism and multilingualism in the classroom
? Transition from school to university
Please express your interest by midnight on Sunday 15th April, by
sending your proposal to Stefania Triggiano [log in to unmask] as
a titled, Word or PDF attachment of not more than 250 words in length.
Your proposal should include your name and organisation.
The successful participants will be notified by May 1st 2018.
