Dear all,
We’re happy to announce that the abstract submission for the Scandinavian Workshop on Applied Eye Tracking (SWAET) August 23-24 2018 in Copenhagen is now open. SWAET is an interdisciplinary meeting place for graduate students, researchers, industry, and others who use eye tracking to study different phenomena - including visual perception, reading, translation, learning, marketing, usability, driving, and many others - or to help people with disabilities. We call for abstracts within these and other areas with a clear topical connection to eye movements. For details and submission, please see http://www.tilmeld.dk/SWAET2018/abstract-submission.html. The deadline for abstract submission is April 15, 2018. Decisions on the submissions will be sent to the authors by May 31, 2018. All accepted and presented abstracts will be published in the Journal of Eye Movement Research.
Registration for SWAET 2018 is also open. The fee is 750DKK (approx.. 100€) which will cover workshop participation, lunches and refreshments on both day. PhD-students participate free of charge. The conference dinner on August 23 will be 500 DKK (approx.. 67€) for everyone. To sign up, go to https://www.tilmeld.dk/SWAET2018/sign-up.html
In the week following SWAET, we offer a PhD-course on Statistics for Behavioural Sciences which will be relevant for PhD-students participating in SWAET. For more information, see https://www.cbs.dk/forskning/phd/phd-courses
