Warwick Clinical Trials Unit, Warwick Medical School
Salary: £25,728 - £28,936 per annum
Location: University of Warwick, Coventry
Term: Fixed term contract for 3 years.

You will join an active statistics group within Warwick CTU and will provide statistical support on the design of large multi-centre randomised controlled trials, conduct analyses of datasets from the trials and contribute to the final reports. Current areas of research include cancer, emergency and critical care, mental health, musculoskeletal disorders and pain, rehabilitation, trauma and orthopaedics.
You will have a first degree (Class I or II) or equivalent in a subject containing a substantial coverage of statistical theory, methods and practice. You will have the ability to write scientific reports and to manage and analyse large data sets. You will have excellent planning and organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines. You will be IT literate, self-motivated with excellent communication skills and have the ability to work well individually as well as in a team. The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop their own research ideas and there may be scope to register for a PhD/MPhil.
