Good afternoon,
Apologies for cross-posting.
Would you like to share your knowledge with us?
We are collaborating on an evidence synthesis of interventions for reducing coercive practices (e.g. restraint, seclusion) in mental health wards and are asking for your help in finding unpublished documents.
We are looking for staff training programmes, guidelines, crib sheets, standards, policies or any documents reporting the practices to minimise the use of restraint, seclusion or any coercive interventions in adult mental health wards.
The project team anticipates different hospital trusts and departments may have developed local training, guidance or policies that are not published. We are running extensive grey literature searches but hope to supplement these with help from health librarians who may have ‘insider knowledge’ of unpublished resources used in their mental health departments.
Please, send details of any relevant documents used by your organisation, such as web links or, if you have permission, the actual resource.
We will be very grateful for your help and we will acknowledge your contribution in the final report.
The project is an NIHR-funded evidence synthesis https://www.journalslibrary.nihr.ac.uk/programmes/hsdr/165317/
Please, send your comments to Rocio Rodriguez [log in to unmask]
Thank you for your help in advance.
Best wishes,
Rocio Rodriguez
