assuming your clusters are in normalized space you can use
Extract & Map Surface Data -> Map Normalized Volume (Template Space) to Template Surfaces
to map the normalized volume to the template surface. Then you could use this mapping to create a mask and read the individual surface values from the resampled surfaces (without smoothing) inside that mask.
