Dear All,
I have a question with regard to censoring (or nulling) regressors, used
to effectively remove bad scans from a fMRI timeseries. The question is
as follows: within SPM, it may matter in which order regressors are
entered, or added (e.g.,
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=SPM;29ad4324.0909 [yes]
or https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=SPM;d0444e86.1606 [no]).
So: if I now add individual regressors for bad scans, is it relevant in
which order I add them? E.g., worst scan (say, timepoint 18) - second
worst scan (timepoint 12) - third worst scan (timepoint 3), or better
first regressor for scan 3, then 12, then 18? From my understanding it
shouldn't matter in this special case, but I will happily benefit from
your combined wisdom.
As always, looking forward to your input.
Cheers
Marko
