Hi Anderson,
Thanks again for your help with my design matrix. I have a few last questions, and I am uploading an example file for you to look at, which will hopefully make it clearer!
We are pooling data from 3 studies of patients and healthy controls. In 1 group, there is only 1 session of resting state data taken at 1 time point. In the other two sets, there are 2 sessions worth of data. Many of the subjects have data at time point 1 (T1) and time point 2 (T2), although some only have data from one time point. I have used your guidance to set up EB, EV and VG files (in the attached file). I want to clarify 3 things.
1. I wanted to check EB3 (highlighted in purple). The number here (1-4) represents the session across both time points.
2. I also wanted to check EV4. For people who are scanned 2x with 2 sessions at each time point, the numbers are currently 1 for the first session at T1, -1 for the 2nd session at T1, 1 for the first session at T2 and -1 for the second session at T2. Is this right?
3. For the VG – also highlighted in purple – are these numbers correct?
Thank you again for your patience and help!!!
Best,
Alex
