*Call for PhD workshop proposals, CHME 2018 Research Conference*
This pre-conference event provides a platform for doctoral students
undertaking research on various aspects of hospitality management to
interact with peers and leading scholars in the field. The workshop offers
doctoral students an opportunity to share and develop their research ideas
in a supportive environment, obtain feedback from mentors who are senior
academics and established researchers, explore issues related to academic
and research careers, and build relationships within the broader academic
community from around the world. The event has purposefully integrated an
early career researchers’ development session (so-called publication
retreat) in the programme curriculum which enables doctoral students to
meet editors of leading tourism and hospitality journals and gain
first-hand advice on devising the most effective strategies for writing and
submitting papers to top journals.
This PhD Workshop is provided FREE of CHARGE to those registered to attend
the CHME 2018 conference. The CHME 2018 conference is heavily discounted
for students to encourage active participation. For those willing to attend
the PhD Workshop only, there is a registration fee of £65.
