Hi Joe,
All staff are happy to assess and give feedback online once given the equipment they need, eg 2 screens + personal health and safety concerns addressed and appreciate the benefits re efficiency and student experience. However, we are experiencing difficulty when it comes to the moderation process. We have received a push back from External Examiners who have been given access to modules and grade centres. They don't want to follow links then look for information, they want a module box where all sample coursework + feedback can be found. This causes problems with Blackboard assignments as the feedback is held separately from the assignment. This also applies to quizzes using question sets, discussion forums, wikis, and video assignments. We're currently looking at how best to achieve this, so any suggestions would be welcome.
Best wishes
Carol

Subject: Institution Wide Online Marking
Hello,
We currently have approximately 60% of assignments being submitted online and wanting to push for that to become 100% where appropriate. I was wondering who has gone to fully online marking for assessments and also how well it has been received.
I looked through the archives, but can't find anything within the last 12 months. Any information you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Joe
