Hi Helen,
We have no formal policy in this respect, although we have been considering the need for something around the spread of exams to be developed.
It is custom and practice in most Schools to avoid students having more than one exam on any one day - some also make a point of leaving a day in between exams. I am not aware of any student having more than one exam on any one day - any guidance we developed would probably refer to a 24-hour period to avoid a PM exam being followed by an AM exam the next day.
I would be really interested to hear what others are doing.
Best wishes
Alison

Subject: 24 Hour Gap between Exams
Dear all
I am interested in hearing whether any Institution has a policy that states that 'no student can sit more than one exam in a 24 hours period?' If you have such a policy would you be able to share this with me and how this works in practice?
It would also be useful to know if you do not have a policy, and if you have had such a request and dismissed the idea.
Kind regards, and thank you
Helen
