Workshop: Joint Models and Extensions (25th April 2018)
A one-day training workshop is hosted as part of the JoineR-M project, aiming to bring modern methods of statistical analysis into mainstream medical research, and funded by an MRC MRP grant.
The workshop is relevant to clinical researchers, applied statisticians and other data analysts faced with the need to deal with non-ignorable missingness in clinical studies with longitudinal outcome data or to analyse longitudinal and time to event outcomes together. Participants will learn about the latest joint modelling methodologies, including extensions to multivariate longitudinal data, competing risks events, and meta-analysis. The workshop also provides a hands-on experience of specialised software for joint modelling in R environment.
Location: University of Liverpool London Campus, 33 Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1AG
Registration and Details: Registration is free, but places must be reserved in advance via EventBrite platform (limited to 30 places). Please visit https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/translational-medicine/departmentsandgroups/joine-r/workshops/.
