We are looking for a talented individual to head up our new Quantitative Solutions group, within our Advanced Analytics Centre (AAC). The Advanced Analytics Centre uses a blend of scientific & technical skills (statistics, informatics, computer science, mathematics and tool development) to develop & deliver cutting-edge methods which address critical scientific & business questions in drug development.
The Director, Head of Advanced Analytics Service Delivery leads a team that provides a defined scope of advanced analytics services according to TA drug project need
Reports to Head, Advanced Analytics Centre, and sit on the AAC Leadership Team
Potentially line manage up to around 5 individuals globally
Typical Accountabilities:
Reviews working practices of team and ensures non-compliant processes are escalated and remediated
Periodically reviews the team’s scope of services, bringing in any new offerings and transitioning any existing ones to the TA statistical teams via training programmes
Ensures own work and work of team is compliant within Clinical Development
Serve as a system owner for statistical tools developed within the AAC

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Essential:
MSc or PhD biostatistics, mathematics, informatics, computer science, the physical sciences or related subject
Strong experience of modelling, simulation and statistical computing
Broad understanding of clinical drug development & the pharmaceutical environment
People leadership – the ability to motivate, inspire and influence team members
