PhD position in cognitive neuroscience of motivation and memory

Applications are invited for a PhD position in cognitive neuroscience.
The position is available immediately for three years with a possible
extension for two more years. The position is on the German TV-H E13
scale (50%) for public employees.
The candidate will be expected to contribute to research on motivation
and memory and to teaching in biological psychology according to the
teaching regulations of Hesse. The department offers a state-of-the-art
on-site research-dedicated 3T MRI scanner. The successful candidate will
collect and analyze fMRI data, present the results at scientific
conferences and write scientific papers.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a Master’s degree
(or equivalent) in neuroscience, psychology, biology or a related field
who have a strong interest in cognitive neuroscience and the ability to
work independently. We expect basic programming skills and proficiency
in English; prior experience with fMRI is of advantage.
