Dear SPM users,
We are about to start a nonlinear DCM analysis on working memory data (0-back vs. 2-back) of schizophrenia patients and controls. We want to assess whether the nonlinear effects of the salience network (SN) to default mode network (DMN) and central executive network (CEN) are different across groups.
Within groups, there is a clear and significant difference between 0-back and 2-back contrast where the DMN and CEN are activated, respectively. The insula, part of the SN, is active in both of these contrasts.
How can we find whether the nonlinear effects of SN to DMN and CEN is different during 0-back and 2-back conditions between groups? Can we do this in one single DCM analysis?
It's also not clear whether we should choose the VOI's from different contrasts, with DMN VOI's from 0-back & CEN VOIs from 2-back.
Thank you!
Felix
