Dear Karolina,
Indeed, Jason is right. You can just pre-process both files up to the
epoching step and then merge them. This is similar to what is done in
the multimodal data tutorial chapter in the manual. It doesn't usually
make sense to merge continuous files because you'll have a
discontinuity there which if you are not careful could lead to
problems later on.
