Job Title: INFORM RESEARCH ASSISTANT/RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Job Summary: The post will support the delivery of the INFORM project by undertaking research assistance with qualitative and quantitative research; organising databases, references, editing case studies and working with literature on informality; as well as coordinating the preparation of research outputs and publications; and supporting online dissemination of the Project's findings to a variety of audiences.
FTE 0.6
Grade/Salary: 6B - £30,316 - £31,967 (including London Allowance) pro rata per annum (Research Assistant)
Or, where the post-holder has a PhD:
Grade 7 - £34,635 - £41,864 (including London Allowance) pro rata per annum (Research Associate)
Duration: As soon as possible to end 31st March 2019
Reporting to: The appointed person will report to Professor Ledeneva.

The UCL School of Slavonic & East European Studies (SSEES) is a world-leading multidisciplinary specialist institution for the study of Russia, Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. More than 70 staff teach close to 1000 students and conduct research at SSEES with specialisations that cover most of the disciplines of the humanities and the social sciences.
This post will be supporting a project entitled 'Closing The Gap Between Formal And Informal Institutions In The Balkans' (INFORM). This is a large-scale integrated project funded by the European Commission Horizon 2020 Framework (project number 693537; call H2020-INT-SOCIETY-2015).
