this is on the experiments though. For ATLAS we did do a measure with at
least one application at DESY, but I don't see this being replicated.
Even at DESY we had some difficulties ascertaining that the status of
the machines before and after to select them beacuse of the chaotic way
patches were released and applied over a week. CERN has an abundance of
machines where the experiments can run controlled applications
benchmarks instead.
