Job description :
As Director of Research you will work in partnership with senior colleagues across our University, Schools, Research Office and Enterprise Office and be responsible and accountable for the Social Work and Social Policy, and Politics and International Studies REF Units. You will also work alongside the Director of Research for Psychology to support the generation of high quality research and enterprise activity across the School of Social Sciences. You will have an established international reputation for research and scholarship in a relevant discipline. Applications from candidates who can demonstrate sufficient breadth and depth of knowledge in the social sciences to support a growing research base in our criminology section as well as working across the units, would be welcomed.
This post will be critical to the successful development and implementation of our Strategic Plan and will contribute to the University's research and enterprise strategies.
This is a new senior academic leadership post, presenting exciting opportunities for the right candidate.
