I'm sorry that this is not really related to Records Management, but I'm hoping some of you may be able to help! My Information Management team at the London Borough of Barnet also includes responsibility for the Local Land Property Gazetteer, which is the primary address dataset for a Council.
I'm putting together some background information on the Gazetteer for a report I'm compiling, and I'm trying to prove how difficult it is to recruit staff into these positions - I know that when we last recruited into this position several years ago it proved very difficult to recruit to, so I'd be really grateful if any one else from a council could send me any information they have on the difficulties they've had in recruiting to (or retaining) Gazetteer staff?
