Postdoc position is available in the Department of Molecular and Cluster Dynamics at the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry, Prague, within a project of M. Fárník.
Project: Molecular beam experiments with molecules and clusters, which represent fundamental research relevant to various areas from atmospheric chemistry and astrochemistry to biophysics. The experiments involve molecular beams, mass spectrometry, IR and UV spectroscopy, velocity map imaging, and electron attachment.
Applicant: Ph.D. degree in the field of physics or chemistry (physical chemistry) or equivalent is required. Previous experience with the above mentioned experiments, building scientific apparatus, electronics, lasers, vacuum physics and similar fields will be considered.
Conditions: The position is initially opened in 2018 for one year with possible extensions up to 6 years. The offered salary can be 43 kCZK/month representing a competitive postdoc salary in science in CR, and is subjected to possible negotiations.
