Hi all,
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer.
Externalization clearly seems a good option. The main concern would indeed be that we have no DAMS. But also sending data from our current systems to third parties is usually a very cumbersome process for us. Another concern is that the prices seem rather steep and may become an obstacle for the non-profit users. Or are images though Bridgeman acquired for commercial use only?
Cheers,
Ellen

Hi Ellen
We use Bridgeman for licensed images and print on demand.
As Chris says the big advantage is the saving on staff time. Especially with print on demand any delivery service can create a lot of enquiries around lost or damaged parcels, returns, etc.
We send bulk uploads of images with related metadata in Excel and compile this through our DAMS.
The only downside for us is lack of access to any web analytics for the licensed images and print on demand websites. We keep asking Bridgeman but they've not been able to provide it so far.
Regards
Rick
