Hello everyone.
I am toying with the idea of binding our periodicals 'in-house' as we have quite a backlog, and the turn-around time with binders (even excellent ones) is quite long (months), and cost of getting it done including postage, can be a discouragement for a small institution such as ours.
If you do this ...
1) What would your three top tips be?
2) What would you say would be the minimum in terms of equipment and materials we could get away with (limited space in the workshop)?
3) Tutorial material to recommend (that you have used)?
And finally,
4) Is it worth it, or is it just better to pay the professionals to do it (balancing out-sourcing against staff time etc.)?
Could any responder also cc the list too? I imagine it might be a perennial question in folks' minds (even the back of them) of interest generally.
Sincerely,
