A reminder that nominations are open for the 2018 Information Literacy (IL) award. This is open to practitioners and researchers in the IL field from any sector. The deadline is Friday Feb 23rd. See the website for details of the criteria and submission process https://www.lilacconference.com/lilac-2018/awards/information-literacy-award
Those considering submitting a nomination should check out a useful blog post on the Information Literacy website. Distinguished judge Dr Gayner Eyre offers tips and advice on how to make your nomination stand out from the pack. She also explains what the judges are looking for in a winner. Though published in the run-up to last year's award, the advice is still pertinent to all 2018 nominations.
