The Army Museums Ogilby Trust (AMOT) is building on its successful Festival in October by holding a Building Resilience Showcase in 2018.
Aimed at supporting a greater understanding of a range of resilience subjects for those working with and for army museums and army collections such as governance, income diversity and fundraising, training, volunteering, and audience development, the showcase will provide delegates with an opportunity to:
network with other professionals working with, or interested in working with, the army museums sector and relevant collections
get updates from our Arts Council England funded project, Army Museums into the Future
get involved with a specialist panel debate on ‘How our organisations and sectors can become more resilient’ with key professionals from leading funding, investment, and support agencies, and
access one to one information via our Resilience not Reliance Hot Desks clinics as well our practical Resilience workshops.
Bursaries are available for those working within army museums or with relevant army heritage collections. To find out more please visit https://www.armymuseums.org.uk/bursaries/
