The next edition of the Young European Statisticians (YES IX) meeting --
titled “Scalable Statistics: on Accuracy and Computational Complexity” --
will be held on 7-9 of March, 2018 at Eurandom, Eindhoven.
This year the workshop aims to bring together young researchers (PhD
students, postdocs, and young faculty members) working (or interested) in
the field of scalable statistical computations (both theoretical and
applied.)
Tutorials will be given by world experts Jianqing Fan (Princeton and
Shanghai), David Dunson (Duke), and Quentin Berthet (Cambridge.) Young
researchers will also be given the opportunity to present their work in
the format of contributed talks or posters.
