has anyone looked at the NADAL cartridge D-Dimer device from Nal-von-minden?
The recent NICE guidance on VTE suggested that with a wells score of <=1 DDIMER testing by labs or POCT was sufficient to exclude proximal VTE
This is backed up by a recent paper demonstrating that, in this group, assays with moderate sensitivity can reduce false negatives to a clinically acceptable level (<2%) and for anyone with sufficient strength the paper below gives a really good explanation of how to approach the stats:

NICE does not define how good the POCT device has to be. The FDA do however - which is helpful. I cannot find anything on the above device.
