Hi all,

Animal Free Research UK are currently looking for a Science Director (my new boss). If you know anyone who might be interested please forward the details below!

Flexible Location
Salary up to £55k + Benefits

Animal Free Research UK (AFR UK) is the UK's leading medical research charity that funds and promotes the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research and testing. We work collaboratively with the scientific community to achieve our aims of reducing animal testing and increasing the scientific validity of research.

The role will work alongside our new Chief Executive to network, develop external relationships, and further promote the work of the scientists we fund. Your career experience will give you credibility within the scientific community. We are looking for somebody with excellent networking skills and a natural curiosity who can demonstrate a real passion for replacement science and a drive to end animal testing in research. In scientific areas, you will be the spokesperson for the charity, and therefore you must be able to positively influence widely. Inspiring both scientists and non-scientists and translating complex technical concepts in a way that everybody can understand is critical to the success of this role.

Closing Date: 9am Monday 19th February 2018

For further information and to apply: http://www.peridotportal.co.uk/afr
