Good morning all
I have an individual who gave consent for release of clinical notes in May 2017 as part of 'group consent' from the insurer covering HR and OH which the individual consented to release of. This form hadn’t been passed across to me by HR until today.
I have it somewhere in my mind that a consent form has a time frame (expiry) of 6 months on it if not acted upon (not sure where I am getting this from )!
Can anyone confirm if this is the case and / or does written consent obtained yesterday (by email) from the individual to OH to release their medical notes suffice?
Much appreciated if you can advise.
Many thanks
Kind Regards
Jo
