*Caribe Plurilingüe [Multilingual Caribbean] is a one-day conference that
provides an overview of research conducted by graduate students at the
University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras on Caribbean languages. Co-sponsored,
as part of the Conferencias Caribeñas 2017-18 series, by the Institute of
Caribbean Studies at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, the one-day
conference will take place on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 10:00am to
3:00pm, at Sala A Jorge Enjuto–Luis Palés Matos Building, School of
Humanities, UPR-RP. Dr. Nicholas Faraclas and Dr. Dannabang Kuwabong (both
from the Graduate Program in Linguistics and the English Department) are
the moderators.*
*Because this year, the Institute of Caribbean Studies celebrates its
60-year anniversary, the conference will be dedicated to the Institute.*
