The Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds is currently recruiting for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship funded by the National Productivity Investment Fund (NPIF) entitled: "Accelerating innovation in new mobility services”. This is a prestigious and generous 3-year fellowship, open to candidates who are within 4 years of submission of their PhD thesis.
Secondments are built in to this fellowship with a commercial telematics provider and a large regional transport partnership. This is in keeping with the overall objective of the RCUK Innovation Fellowships to undertake innovation-oriented research, co-produced with industrial partners thus furthering the goals of the Industrial Strategy.
This fellowship will involve the fusion and analysis of large datasets and the application of spatial statistics. A wide range of interests and skills relevant to the field of mobility studies will be considered but you must be able to demonstrate use of a diverse range of data and analytical methods plus a strong connection to how your work will influence real systems and contexts.
Salary will be on the University of Leeds’s single salary scale pay spine Grade 8, capped at £39,992 for this position.
