Dear all
I have a question on the retention of PhD viva examination paperwork. By this, I mean the forms and recommendations with comments on the thesis, completed by the individual examiners before and at the viva exam. How long do you keep them?
Are they destroyed fairly soon after the exam on the assumption that the exam is passed and recorded in the Senate Minutes and Graduation brochure and that supersedes everything?
Are they stored with the student's file (for 6 years after the end of the relationship with the student in our case)
Or are they retained for as long as individual taught course student result (in our case 80 years)?
Many thanks
Jean Ash
