Instrument Operations for the CaSSIS imager on ExoMars TGO
The Open University, U.K., is inviting applications for the role of
instrument operations on the CaSSIS imager as part of the ExoMars Trace
Gas Orbiter (TGO) mission.
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Manish Patel and Prof. Nicolas
Thomas (Bern, Switzerland) as part of the CaSSIS team. The role will focus
on operational planning and processing of data from the CaSSIS instrument,
a colour and stereo imager for Mars. The CaSSIS instrument is led from
Bern, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity for regular
interaction between the UK and Swiss teams.
The position is initially offered up to July 2020, but is expected to
continue dependent on implementation of an extended mission.
