*CEE Fellowship at Kingston University: Design For Health Interactions*
Kingston School of Art is leading a ‘Design for Health Interactions’
initiative, which is seeking to network carers and patients with
clinicians, providers and policy makers, enabling the co-exploration of
opportunities within the service design and experience economy.
The approach investigates healthcare in a social context, exploring the
space between clinicians, patients and carers, to capture the patient
experience, to ensure understanding, facilitate engagement and influence
behaviours and adoption.
KSA is seeking a Research Fellow with a deep understanding of ‘Design for
Health’ who will develop their own research project and support existing
initiatives within the School.
*CEE Fellowship at the Royal College of Art in collaboration with IBM iX:
Adaptive Communication and Augmented Intelligence*
While technology companies have established successful models for
introducing pre-release products and services through beta-testing
communities, limited attention has been paid to the wider human, economic,
organisational and societal implications of creating cognitive products and
services that require ongoing forms of training and development, and which
have the potential to disrupt everyday working practices across industry
and the public sector.
This fellowship provides opportunities for post-doctoral researchers to
explore how pedagogical models associated with design and continuous
learning might be used to inform organisational strategies and practices
associated with the development of cognitive technologies. While applicants
are welcome to suggest specific directions for the fellowship we are
particularly interested in proposals that relate to human-centred,
inclusive and/or participatory approaches to designing for continuous
learning and supporting human-machine collaboration through augmented forms
of intelligence.
