We don't have lecture capture but when it was proposed staff were promised it would be a video of the slides and audio of their talk. When we asked the provider, Panopto, about captioning their response about accuracy was not encouraging but maybe its got better?
what woudl people think about recording via AudioNoteTaker for hearing students, followed by some form of speech to text software for deaf students??
with regards
John

Subject: Re: Flipped learning - lecture capture accessibility issues
I would also be interested in the answers to this (if any are off list)
as I am doing some work on "video accessibility for deaf students in HE"
at the moment which I hope to be able to take to an NADP conference at
some point.
