Dear FSL experts
I apologize if my question is naive
I compare two different populations for global brain volume differences.
One group has significantly lower normalized whole brain volume than the other, white matter fraction was not different while grey matter fraction accounted for the observed volume difference.
I really wonder if this is a mere an effect of using different scanners (one group on Siemens 1.5 T and the other on Philips 1.5 T)?
I assume a technical rather than a true volume difference because peripheral grey and normalized FIRST volumes were not different.
Kind Regards
Wafa
