PLANT AND AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES FELLOWSHIP EVENT 26TH-27TH FEBRUARY
2018
The University of Bristol will hold a Plant and Agricultural Sciences
Fellowship event on 26th-27th February 2018. The School of Biological
Sciences is seeking highly motivated individuals to join us as
independent research fellows. Prospective fellows are invited to visit
the department, meet with academic and support staff and will be given
the opportunity to present proposed research areas. Funding is available
to support travel and accommodation for this event and some members of
our academic staff will host an evening meal to enable further
discussions.
The Bristol Centre for Agricultural Innovation (BCAI) is offering three
£50,000 research grants to boost project funding for individuals that
are awarded independent research fellowships at Bristol. Research areas
must fall within the remit of BCAI to be eligible for this extra funding
(http://www.bristol.ac.uk/biology/bcai/ [1]).
We benefit from excellent facilities and host a vibrant
interdisciplinary group of plant scientists. Further information about
plant and agricultural research at Bristol can be found at
