I have a very stupid question and am desperate for some clarity.
My study's design is a bit unwieldly: a visual imagery task with manipulation of set size (2 or 4 items) and congruency (congruent or incongruent). The control task is a working memory task with a manipulation of set size (2 or 4 items).
I modeled this using a flexible factorial model. The conditions are below.
[Task-congruent2, Task-congruent4, Task-incongruent2, Task-incongruent4 , control2, control4]
I want to run the following comparison: (Task-congruent4 + task-incongruent4 > control4) > (task-congruent2 + task-incongruent2 > control 2)
How do I go about this? Do I use imcalc on the T-map or, con images? If so, how do I make the corrections for multiple comparisons and extract the peaks?
Or do I use the contrast manager and use this for the contrast: [-1 1 -1 -1 2 -2]?
Any help is greatly appreciated
