Hi All,
I've read in multiple places that it's appropriate to use temporal derivatives in an event-related to design (in order to account for differences in peak latency in the HRF), but that doing so is not as helpful or may in fact be inappropriate in the context of a block design spanning several TRs. Could someone help point me to some resources or explain why this is the case? My calculus knowledge is a bit rusty so reading up on the Taylor Expansion has been slow-going.
Thanks in advance!
