The Child Computer Interaction (ChiCI) group at UClan are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to work on projects around the design and evaluation of serious games. The post is for eight months initially.
The successful applicant will have a degree in Computing or Media / Interaction design / games area and will be willing to work with schools and colleges to arrange evaluations of technologies as well as carry out design activities under the supervision of the ChiCI faculty members.
Experience of working in a team and an ability to create game prototypes is essential. Experience of coding is preferred to support the work on prototyping.

A willingness to travel as well as good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required for this position.
