Dear all,
We would be grateful if you could alert your colleagues to the following funding opportunity:
The John Rylands Research Institute at the University of Manchester welcomes applications to its Digital Humanities project start-up grant.
The deadline for applications is 5pm Thursday 30 November 2017.
Grants are available for current University of Manchester academics (including PhD students and early career researchers), library staff, and early career researchers from other universities to set up a new digital research project or test a new digital research tool using the Special Collections of the University of Manchester Library.
A maximum of £5,000 will be awarded per application; in addition, recipients will receive access to curatorial, grant-writing, and – where appropriate – specialist technical support.
