Research Associate in Statistics, University of Cambridge
Applications are invited for a Research Associate in Statistics. The post is available for 2 years from 1 September 2018 (or by negotiation). Appointments will be made at an appropriate point on the University’s Research Associate scale.
The post is connected with Professor Richard Nickl’s ERC grant ‘Uncertainty Quantification and Modern Statistical Inference’. The Research Associate will work in the broad area of mathematical statistics. Research experience in any of the following subjects is helpful but not necessary: statistical inverse problems, Bayesian nonparametric statistics. The position is associated with a generous research allowance for academic visits/equipment etc., of at least £4K per annum.
