We log everything on our middle ware including return of meter to POCT from ward or back to supplier. We have the facility to record x meter replaced by x meter in one of the boxes so this acts as our audit

We don't asset register our meters. They are all tracked in the middleware. If I return any faulty meters I log this in our QMS

Subject: Glucose meter asset numbers
Can I ask if sites place an asset number on each glucose and ketone meter and log them separately on an asset register?
We don't at present but it has just been suggested that we do so by our engineering department.
Thanks,
Theresa
