We have configured certain locations to be able to do ketones, so the meter capabilities change depending on where they are docked. It doesn't restrict which users can perform the test.

Subject: Blood ketone Testing
We will soon be implementing blood ketone testing within a few areas using the Abbott Freestyle Precision Pro. I am interested to know how those who use these meters for this test, control which operators can use specifically designated meters for ketone testing.
Only certain operators will have training for ketone testing, so I am wanting to find the best way to ensure staff who use the meters for blood glucose monitoring, do not use the meters for ketone testing if they have not been trained.
Thank you
