Dear friends,
We would like to announce the launch of the research project* infra-demos
<http://www.infrademos.net>. *
*infra-demos <http://www.infrademos.net> *is an anthropological project
that studies the relationships between infrastructures and innovative
socio-technological forms of participation arising within the
infrastructural gap (IG).
<https://www.academia.edu/30973080/Infrastructural_Gap> infra-demos will
be ethnographically focused in Greece but expects to extent its findings
well beyond the case.
infra-demos <http://infra-demos.net> was launched in autumn of 2017 and
will last 5 years. It is housed at the department of Social and Cultural
Anthropology of Vrije University Amsterdam (VU), it is funded from a Vidi
Innovative Research grant of the Dutch Organisation of Scientific Research and
is directed by Dimtiris Dalakoglou <https://dimitrisdalakoglou.weebly.com>
who is the Professor of Social Anthropology at VU.
