Dear Colleagues
The Midlands Regional Trainers' Group is developing a toolkit which will support NHS staff and students to utilise a range of tools to remain up-to-date with current evidence in their field. It is envisaged that the toolkit will provide a training plan and supplementary resources which could be used by any member of the library team to deliver training on request or as a scheduled session.
This project is not intended to replace any work currently underway as part of Knowledge for Healthcare. Our output will be shared with the Service Transformation (Current Awareness Group) and on completion it is hoped that it will be disseminated widely to NHS Library and Knowledge Services. A review of literature has been carried out and we are now interested in understanding the extent to which current awareness training is delivered within the NHS, and any examples of good practice.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please spare 5-10mins to complete a short questionnaire and email your responses (off-list) to: [log in to unmask]
