Dear Colleagues,
In March of 2017, the Institute of International Education (IIE) ( https://www.iie.org/ ) launched the Platform for Education in Emergencies Response (PEER). IIE PEER ( https://www.iiepeer.org/ ) is a multifaceted, web-based platform which allows refugee and displaced students to connect to educational opportunities such as scholarships, online learning and language courses. Currently, IIE PEER focuses on Syrian refugees with an intent on expanding to help students in the broader MENA region.
IIE PEER has seen a great amount of success since its launch from countries primarily across the MENA region, including Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, and Turkey. These users have accessed the site to view the over 700 educational opportunities hosted. We are actively seeking more educational opportunities to host on IIE PEER. We welcome opportunities available in any region, for any educational purpose, and that provides partial to full funding. If you would like to submit a university opportunity, please submit here: http://iiepeer.org/university_opportunity/submit If you would like to submit an organizational opportunity, please submit here http://iiepeer.org/organization_opportunity/submit
Finally, if you would like to learn more on the work of IIE PEER or to receive updates, please email us at [log in to unmask] to receive the upcoming newsletter!
We look forward to hearing from you and are available to answer any questions you might have.
Best regards,
Sixtine Berquist
