Apologies for cross-posting
The University of Leeds wishes to develop and implement clear policy and practice to support an identifiable records management culture across the institution.
We wish to appoint an experienced records management consultant(s) or consortium to:
1. Reflect, review and report upon existing practice across the University, evaluating our current activities and procedures, specifically with a view to improving the way we manage our paper and electronic records.
2. Make recommendations for the development of a strategic approach to records management, providing an action plan with options for implementation.
3. Establish a practical records management policy that works with the grain of the University’s business needs and practice.
The project needs to identify clearly improvements that can be made using existing resources, with a staged implementation plan and/ or demonstrate the need for an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
For full details of the consultancy brief and information on selection criteria contact Joanne Fitton (Head of Special Collections and Galleries, University Library) via email: [log in to unmask]
Proposals should be submitted by 10th November. The consultancy needs to be completed by mid-May 2018. The total budget is under £25,000.
This project is being led by the University Library in partnership with the University Secretariat.
