This position supports statistical programming activities for the Centre for Observational and Real-World Evidence, focusing on the analysis and reporting needs for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) dossiers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of strategic solutions utilising SAS to create analysis datasets, tables, listing and figures from clinical trial data.
• Collaborate effectively with project team members to gather and interpret user requirements, and transform them into HTA analysis datasets, tables and figures under the guidance of a senior level programmer.
• Programmatically develop, validate and maintain analysis and reporting deliverables directly contributing to HTA projects.
• Ensure deliverable quality and compliance with good programming practices whilst performing validation activities following department SOPs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related analytical field
• SAS programming experience including data steps, procedures, SAS/MACRO, SAS/GRAPH, preferably in the analysis and reporting of clinical trials but other sectors will be considered
• Ability to comprehend analysis plans which describe HTA research and statistical programming methodology to be programmed
• Prior experience in HTA support would be advantageous
• Understanding of statistical, clinical and data management terminology and concepts
• Working knowledge of reporting processes (SOPs) and software development life-cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of CDISC data standards (SDTM, ADaM).
• Unix operating system experience; Oracle SQL experience; systems and database experience
