Graduate Fellowship Opportunities in the Department of Geography Pennsylvania State University
The Department of Geography at Pennsylvania State University is pleased to solicit nominations for the “Graduate School Dean’s Distinguished Fellowship Program.” The Graduate School is looking to fund 15 of the Dean’s Distinguished Graduate Fellowships this coming year. Each university department is able to nominate one student for this award. Successful fellowship applicants can expect to receive a stipend of $30,000, tuition reimbursement, and student health insurance subsidy. These fellowships are highly competitive and come with opportunities to engage in cutting edge research. In order to be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must apply to the Graduate Program in Geography by November 20, 2017. Finally, prospective students should also be aware that there are a limited number of University wide fellowships and to be considered for those awards the application deadline is: November 20, 2017. For those students who want to be considered for department level funding only the admissions deadline is December 15, 2017. Students who apply for the Graduate School Dean’s Distinguished Fellowship Program or other college level fellowships will also be given full consideration for department level funding. Questions?
