Hi,
I am new to fMRI & SPM. Currently, I am trying to report my findings.
Based on my understanding, each voxel has its own coordinate. A set consists of several clusters, a cluster consists of several voxels and a voxel might consist of more than one brain region. From the SPM output, cluster 1 shows a number of regions have reached the statistical significance with the peak at a coordinate.
Let say cluster 1 shows left inferior occipital, left inferior parietal, left precuneus that reached the significance value & the extent of voxel threshold I have set. It also shows cluster reached the significance with the peak at the MNI coordinate (eg. -22 -44, 41). Does that mean that all the three regions listed above found at this particular coordinate? When I tried to locate that coordinate using wfupickatlas, it shows one region only (eg. left inferior occipital).
Besides, a region can be found in several different clusters. For instance, left precuneus is found in cluster 1 and cluster 2 with different voxels at different peak coordinate. When reporting the findings in a table, should I add up the voxels manually? Or is there any other way to find out the total voxels activated for that particular region?
